Trip Report: Bushwhacked down #3 without a clear view of where I was going. Dropped down then ascended a ridge to get a visual. Watched for high ground and watched the GPS for coordinates. Crossed several paths and woods roads. Ascended and descended several bumps I thought might be the top. They weren't! Had to cross a small stream and swampy area. Deep and lots of mud. Walked along the stream and found an almost dry area to cross. Kept walking UP until I ran into a woods road that went near the top. Found a stump with some oddly placed branches that matched GPS coordinates. Declared victory! Used CPS (canine positioning system) to get back to car.
