Trip Report: QUEST for COMPLETION #6

Vary tired after the first peaks! Parked at the Pheasant Farm on Rockport Road and went across the road to hike to the overlook. Limited views from the overlook as the vegetation is in full "bloom". Continued on the woods road from the overlook and then turned northeast on another road. Things were looking good! Crossed the first right-of-way without any problem. SHARP plants now increasing! Hit the woods road to the second right-of-way and POSTED signs started to appear. To try to avoid private property I headed more north than I wanted and the crossed the power line. From this point on I almost gave up a dozen times. NOTHING was easy. Incredibly sharp prickers and barberry in many of the open places I had to go through. Wet, sloppy woods roads. Only let up as I approached the high point. Hunters cabin near the high point so I retreated and followed about the same route back. MISSION COMPLETE!
