Brom Vermeulen's Ascent of Mount Fairway (1080 feet)

Trip Report: Parked on Mine Hill Rd. and went straight up the hill, passing several mine sites enclosed in chain link fence. Trails and woods roads wander in all direction; at one time, all these mine sites must have been connected by these roads.

Just before the powerline there are 2 small buildings; one is full of rock cores from the mines. I took one for a souvenir; I don't think it will be missed.

Past the powerline, posted signs began appearing, but the summit is not posted. The transmission facility seems to be abandoned.

Returned pretty much the way I'd come.
