Bowling Green's actual summit has limited views towards the West through a long-abandoned chairlift cut, but there is a firetower that offers stunning views of the whole of northern New Jersey. The firetower, officially the Milton Tower, is one of the tallest in New Jersey. From its wind-battered platforms one can see as far away as High Point and New York City, as well as a panoply of nearer mountains. The Milton firetower is east-north-east of the summit, don't miss it!
The chairlift cut you see is a remnant from the old Milton Snow Bowl.
